Justin Shubert, PsyD, PhD

Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Psychoanalyst

Dr. Justin Shubert received his Bachelor’s degree from Cornell University, his Doctorate in Clinical Psychology from California School of Professional Psychology, and his PhD in Psychoanalysis from The New Center for Psychoanalysis. Dr. Shubert has offered psychotherapy in a variety of settings including The Los Angeles Gay & Lesbian CenterLas Encinas Hospital in Pasadena, and The Saturday Center for Psychotherapy in Santa Monica.  He has presented in various settings including the American Psychoanalytic Association and The Santa Monica Public Library on topics ranging from Neuroscience to Gender & Sexuality.

Dr. Shubert is the founder of Silver Lake Psychotherapy, a psychotherapy and psychiatric practice on the East side of Los Angeles, as well as the co-chair of the American Psychoanalytic Association’s Committee on Gender and Sexuality, and the co-founder of the Committee on Diversity and Sociocultural Issues at the New Center for Psychoanalysis.
